There were more than 1,200 walk participants in the 2015 Walk Tacoma series, averaging 143 people per walk.

Transportation Advocacy Day

On May 6, 2019, advocates and community members from across Pierce County who are working on issues of livability, affordability, walking, biking, transit, and more will come together to work on grassroots advocacy and transportation equity.

This event, at Court House Square, is from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. and includes trainings, activities, and speakers all aimed at creating a strong coalition that can move Tacoma and Pierce County toward a more equitable and connected future. This day culminates in one-on-one conversations with Tacoma City and Pierce County Council members.
